A new tapestry completed. It is intended to be the first of a pair depicting abandoned cars dumped in the bush

Another tapestry completed. Train tracks at Murchison East with the haze of dust obscuring and obliterating the detail and distance.

Finally my yarn arrived and I have completed my tapestry of Larundel Mental Asylum. I have been working on this intermittently for over a year. Sadly it does not translate well into a photograph, losing the delicate and enveloping texture along with some of the finer tonal details.
I am currently keeping my eye out for opportunities to exhibit my tapestries as I am increasingly proud of the results.

My most recently completed tapestry. An experiment in finding the balance between the time spent making and the clarity and quality of the resultant work. Few images of interest to me work at this resolution, usually losing their link to realism and their atmosphere when reduced so dramatically.
A much larger tapestry is hovering near completion with only two square inches remaining unfinished. An order of yarn from the UK will be its savior, hopefully soon.

A new year and a new tapestry project of a larger scale. Architectural features begin to emerge with the stitching and accumulation of shadows.

The first of a series of grey scale tapestries. Unfortunately I am currently too busy for words.
