Concrete monoliths of a human scale standing huddled together. Shots taken with fuji instax near Sydney College of the Arts.

These shots were taken on the same day as the fuji instaxs I’ve previously posted. The building is long abandoned White Bay powerstation in Rozelle. It was a scorchingly sunny day causing plentiful overexposure but I don’t mind it in these shots. The prints have a blue tone which I greatly dislike and in future I will desaturate my digital copies of these prints.
There is a lot of difference from my last roll shot on a lomo super sampler, it is a new replacement camera, 100 speed fuji film instead of 400 speed ilford and the processing was done at a different photolab. The camera is a massive improvement on the original the film and lab I am not so sure about.

White Bay Powerstation shot with my fuji instax. There was too much sun for the majority of shots, washing out the rubble covered ground and decaying walls. I don’t think this will be a camera for the summertime. Of the sixteen shots taken these four are the only that capture the textures and surrounds of this derelict building.
