The brickpit, an industrial crater transformed to frog habitat as seen from the aerial walkway.

A corner of Badu Mangrove Park recalls the film Fitzcarraldo and its monstrous image of a steamer wrecked in the Amazon.

Taken with my Nikon D90

Photography has become much more important to me since my travels. A honing of technique is allowing me to capture the world as I see it. Still not as meaningful a communication as my drawings I find I am moving towards a point where I have some control over the mediums ability to alter atmosphere. These were taken with a borrowed (battled over) nikon d700. My very own nikon d90 arrived today along with a 10-24mm zoom lens and a 35mm prime lens. Expect more photos to appear here and hopefully some drawing too.
