The Green Ray by Tacita Dean and a discussion of her process produced by the TATE. I have loved her work since first seeing her alabaster works at age 18 and feel very lucky to have seen a large selection of her works including the Green Ray at ACCA in 2009.

Finally my yarn arrived and I have completed my tapestry of Larundel Mental Asylum. I have been working on this intermittently for over a year. Sadly it does not translate well into a photograph, losing the delicate and enveloping texture along with some of the finer tonal details.
I am currently keeping my eye out for opportunities to exhibit my tapestries as I am increasingly proud of the results.
