Monday afternoon to the squeals of a poorly greased thread I printed an edition of seven lino prints. Cut a few months ago the lino had lain ignored in a drawer awaiting a burst of enthusiasm. A reworking of the same image of Clifton Hill station I painted some time ago here the blacks are crisp and sharp. Contrast and atmosphere can be adjusted with indian ink hand toning, each print handled differently. A pleasant and messy way to while away my last hours in the studio for the year.

I really like that print Kate, good work.

Thanks, I’d initially intended it to be a multi-plate print but I’m quite happy with it as it is and hand colouring is fun.
