The spaces that surround us are an extension of the self. Today I visited Breanna in order to explore her relationship with the place she inhabits. Drawn from life the colouring was done after. I hope it does justice to the delicate pastel tones of her room.

hey neat you put colours in it! sweet. i dig the typewriter. i liked the conversation we were having during this pose and so when i look at it my head automatically goes to what i could see out the window as we were talking. a picture inside a picture.

I love that this drawing and the others from friday afternoon are shared experiences. It is a very rare thing for my art work which predominantly deals with solitary exploration and endeavor. More to come… in colour too.

yeah, collaborations are sweet. i am craving them very much these days, all of my good ideas involve other people.
