my first work to be shown for many a year this work was accepted for the 2009 williamstown festival contemporary art prize. It is graphite on paper and of a very small scale (16 cm x ?). An intricate rubble along the preston train tracks, the sharpness of the trailer drew my eye.

I really like the blacks in this Kate. The line work is pretty special but those black trees, they’re wonderful.

There are more black trees to come, I spent a whole year doing almost nothing but.
